embed is the way to go

it's even better to embed more than one of the same clip so if one gets taken you have backup for the users

In case you get sued, you will probably get bigger monetary charges, because you are misleading people to think that your site provides the video.

I'll be honest here. The more I think about movie/tv sites the more it sounds like the likelihood of getting sued is eminent. I know some people say they've only had one or so cease and desist letters in the past 3 years or whatever but man, this does not sound like a long term business plan.

Would be nice to have discussions about alternative ways to use cpalead other than ways to get sued.

Or am I just being too paranoid because most of us would be "small fish" and it's the big sites that are more likely to get sued?

Anyone else worry about this if they have tv/movie sites?

A good thing to have is a disclaimer on your about page. You have to make it clear that you are simply providing links to the content and are not hosting it, and that they should contact the video hosts if they have a problem.

This should save you from a few, Although if they want to sue they'll sue but unless your site is very big and is obviously pulling in a lot of cash it's unlikely.
